A famous artists webquest
Have you ever thought about what questions you would ask your favorite artists if you had that rare opportunity? Well now is your chance. Welcome to "You are Van Gogh" (or whomever your group decides on). This is an interactive web quest where you and your partner will work together to create an engaging interview, which will then be performed during class.
This is your chance to step into the shoes of your favorite famous artists. The doors are wide open for you to select an artist of your choice. Your group will choose a creative mind from the past or the present. Make sure to pick someone that both of you are REALLY interested in because you are going to spend a fair amount of time researching and studying this person.
We will have two days in the computer lab for you to complete this Web Quest and gather all the information you are going to need. You will then be given three class periods to work on your visual aid for your presentation and to practice your interview. During the presentation one group member will be the interviewer and the other will take the role of the artist. There will be extra points for dressing up as your artist during your presentation. Please remember to use your class time wisely and keep in mind that you may need to work on this project outside of school.
Now pick up your virtual paint brush and get started creating your masterpiece!
