The visual elements
This page is going to address the visual elements you need in your project. The first is a timeline of your artist's life created in Excel. The second is a visual aid of your choice to be used during your interview. The last section talks about how to dress for your presentation. Please pay close attention to all the details listed.
timeline
Next, your group will create a timeline of your artists life. This will be turned in with you question sheet on the last day in the lab. Please use the button below to link to the Excel file you will be using. You need at least seven major life events in your time line. When you are finished please print out two copies, one for your group and one to turn in.
visual aid
Your group has many choices for a visual aid but there are some guidelines. Please make sure that whatever you choose (power point, poster, video, etc.) it follows these instructions.
1. Your visual aid needs to be present and relevant in your interview. You need to refer to it during your interview
2. The visual aid needs to include pictures of artwork by your artist (in color).
3. You aid should be free of spelling and grammar mistakes.
4. It should be large enough so everyone watching you interview can see it.

Your appearance
During you presentation your appearance is important. The person taking on the part of the interviewer needs to be dressed nicely; like a TV interviewer. The group member that is playing the role of the artist needs to be dressed to impress, also. There are two choices here...nice clothing or dressing as your artist. Dressing up like your artist will earn you extra points and be fun at the same time! Let me know if you are looking for certain items that would help with your outfit. Someone else in the class or myself might have just the right piece.
